The Tiger Land Resort

The Tiger Land Resort, Kanha HotelsThe Jewel of Central India, Kanha National Park is one of the largest Wildlife Parks of India, and one of the best managed. Nestling in the breathtaking Mekal Hills, the rich Kanha forests are the ancestral home of the Baiga & Gond Tribals, among the earliest and most fascinating of India's inhabitants.

The Park's most famous resident is the TIGER, and the world's largest Park population of TIGER can be found here. The rare Indian Swamp Deer , or Barasingha, is also native to these parts. However, Kanha offers a rich bounty to all Nature lovers, whether in Plant, Animal or Bird life, and also the experience of an ancient culture unchanged by time.

The Tigerland Resort is located near the Kisli Gate of the Park. It lies in 5 acres and is well tucked away from the Main Road. Surrounded on three sides by the lush Kanha Forest, it ensures privacy and peace, and it's perfect Jungle setting allows ample sightings of Animal and Bird life around the Resort itself. A resident Naturalist is available for Campfire discussions during cool evenings.

Royal Tiger Resort, Kanha Tiger Reserve

The Royal Tiger Resort at Kanha is tastefully designed over an area of 6 acres in Kanha National Park. This 3-star property is ideally located very close to the entrance of the park at Mukki. A dense forest of mature sal trees surrounds this resort consisting of eighteen excellent suites. These suites are thoughtfully distributed around the resort in clustersof 2 and 4 to cater to different size groups.

The rooms in these suites are airy and offer an excellent view of the surrounding jungle thanks to the large windows.

The rooms feel fresh and are cleaned daily by the efficient resort staff. The attached bathrooms are of excellent quality and come as a pleasant surprise in this wild area. Each suite has an adjoining verandah, which is an ideal place to have a cup of tea or some refreshments while reading a book on nature. The resort has it's own well stocked library.

To ensure that you do not suffer due to the erratic power situation in the area, the resort has it's own full generator back up facility.

Kanha Jungle Lodge, Kanha National Park

A forest of deciduous hardwood, including Sal is interspersed with stands of bamboo and accented with colorful displays of flowering trees. The valley and plateaus are primarily meadow lands (or maidans) in pleasant contrast to the surrounding lush woodlands.

Within their boundaries Kanha protects a multitude of animals and birds, such as Chital, Chausinga (4-horned antelope) Sambar, Muntjak (barking deer), Gaur, leopard, wild-dog, gray jackal, wild boar, sloth bear and, of course, the sovereign of the Park - the Bengal tiger.
