Location
The Oberoi, Bangalore is located on the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Road, in the heart of Bangalore's central business district and shopping area, barely 8 kms from the airport. It is also easily accessible from the office districts of Electronic City, Jigni Industrial Area, Whitefield and State Government offices. The Shopping areas of M.G.Road, Brigade Road and the Commercial Street are all between 1 to 2 kms.

By air: The Oberoi, Bangalore is situated 8 kms from the Bangalore airport, approximately 30 to 40 minutes of driving time. All major domestic airlines have regular flights to and from the city. Jet Airways, Sahara Airlines, Indian Airlines and Deccan Air, all operate frequent flights in a day, in and out of Bangalore from all major cities of India. International carriers like Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Gulf Air and Air Lanka also have regular flights operating to and from Bangalore.

By road: The Oberoi, Bangalore is well connected by road to all major Indian cities. A few important cities in the south of India are Chennai (350 kms / 7hours), Cochin (500 kms / 10 hours) and Hyderabad (615 kms / 12 hours).

By rail: The Oberoi, Bangalore is situated 8 Kms from The Cantonment Railway station, which is a 30 minutes drive. The distance from The Bangalore City Central Railway station is 14 kms, which is a 45 minutes drive.

The hotels 158 rooms and suites all feature a private sit-out area overlooking the pool and the beautiful gardens. All rooms are elegantly furnished to provide a tranquil retreat from the day’s activities and feature dual line speakerphones and dataport.

30 new deluxe rooms have wooden floors, DVD Players, walk-in closets, television sets in the bathroom, separate steam cubicles and private fax machine.

4 Executive Suites and 4 larger Deluxe Suites have a DVD player, separate dressing area, separate living room and private bar.

All Deluxe Rooms and Suites enjoy 24-hour butler service and a number of complimentary VIP services. Breakfast at Le Jardin is included in the price of these rooms and suites.


Dining

Le Jardin
Open 6.30am to 11.30 pm. Le Jardin serves breakfast and a range of Continental and Indian cuisine. It is a multicuisine, all day dining restaurant with a myriad of theme nights which keep rotating and is thus subject to periodic changes. Le Jardin Terrace is available for private parties.

Szechwan Court
Open for Lunch and Dinner, the restrained oriental elegance of Szechwan Court offers an authentic Chinese Szechwan style menu with a few Cantonese specialities.

Rim Nam
The Oberoi’s specialist Thai restaurant. Tables are set among the trees in open-air pavilions over the exotic fishpond. The perfect choice for lunch or dinner with a unique flavour of Thailand.

The Oberoi Spa, managed by award-winning Banyan Tree, is the perfect place to be pampered and to unwind after a busy day.
